How long is the tipical party be?

Is 3-4 hours enough to celebrate a birthday in a Studio 6 party room?
Well… it depends! Is it an 18th or a 14th birthday? What kind of group is it? Will parents be there? Is it a party-type crowd? Answering questions like these makes it easier to decide how many hours you’ll need. Let’s go through it!

As you may have already guessed from the intro – yes, under-18s can book with us!
For teen birthdays, we’ve seen that 3-4 hours is usually enough – there’s plenty of singing, jumping, playing and kids tire out quickly. It also leaves time for cake, gifts, photos, board games, foosball, chatting and of course karaoke!

But what about 18th birthdays?

For 18th birthdays, we highly recommend booking the 10-hour party option (which comes with a discounted price), especially if the group likes socializing, drinking and partying.

Even the most experienced party crews need a little warm-up time to loosen up – but that’s not the only reason to consider a longer booking. You’ll also need time for:

  • decorating (or let us handle it – examples here)
  • guest arrivals
  • parking & directions
  • unpacking food & drinks (or have everything chilled in advance – details here)

And of course: gifts, cake, photos… those won’t disappear either.

At the start, parents often stay for a bit and only leave after the cake. This alone can take a few hours – and let’s be honest, the real party starts when the teens are finally on their own. That’s when the drinking begins, the singing becomes louder, the dancing kicks in, and the drinking games come out. There needs to be time for deep conversations, cigarette breaks in the courtyard, and simply being together to celebrate the birthday person. You only turn 18 once – make it memorable!

What about 3-5 hour bookings?

3-5 hours is often just enough time to warm up, relax, start having fun… and then the booking ends. We’ve had multiple groups wanting to stay longer because they got into the vibe or cancelled their next venue, but unfortunately we couldn’t extend them – weekend slots fill up fast and later bookings don’t leave room for flexibility.

Our team is always happy to offer extensions when possible, but we can’t guarantee it.

In summary

Shorter parties can work for certain groups and occasions – but for milestone events, it’s worth discussing and planning it properly.

Studio 6 is the perfect venue: private rooms, no strangers, foosball, karaoke and a fully private atmosphere that makes celebrating feel natural and relaxed.
